Castor oil is a vegetable oil made from the beans of the Ricinus communis plant. It acts as an antiviral, antibacterial, and antifungal agent and helps treat a variety of skin conditions. Our pure castor oil is very thick, so it’s recommended you mix it with other oils.

Content: 50ml or 100ml

*The 100ml glass bottle is suitable for reuse - bring it back empty when you pick up a new order for €1 store credit (emailed within 7 days). If you aren't able to visit the store please reuse and recycle at your local glass recycling facility. To make it easier save up 5 empty bottles for €5 store credit.

Castor Oil Benefits

Castor oil is rich in ricinoleic acid, a monounsaturated fatty acid. The oil promotes wound healing due to its moisturising properties and can prevent sores from drying out and becoming flaky. Ricinoleic acid has potent anti-inflammatory properties which can help to reduce pain and can stimulate the immune system.

Castor Oil Skin

The oil can be used with acne-prone skin because it is antibacterial and anti-inflammatory and has a low comedogenic score, so it won’t break you out.

HOW TO USE: Castor oil is very thick, so it is recommended you mix a few drops in with other oils such as jojoba oil, grapeseed oil when applying as a moisturiser to the face.

Castor Oil Hair

HOW TO USE: Great for dry and damaged hair as a potent conditioner, it can be applied in a small amount to the length of the hair. It can also help soothe dandruff on the scalp and a couple of drops can be massaged into the scalp.

For extra shine and nourishment for the beard, mix a few drops of castor oil with jojoba oil as recommended above.

To nourish your brows and lashes, use a clean makeup spoolie and brush a little castor oil through them at night.
