    Olive Oil soap

This 100% olive oil soap can be used anywhere on the body. A little goes a long way. The best way to use the soap is to take a wet washcloth and rub the soap over the washcloth several times (that should be enough to wash your entire body). Pure olive oil soap foams very little by itself, so it helps to rub the soap over a washcloth. Olive Oil soap produces less foam by itself, but that doesn't mean the soap is less hygienic or doesn't work well.

    Making Liquid Castille Soap

If you prefer to use liquid soap, you can dilute the soap with water and put it in a bottle. It works best to first grate the soap and gradually add warm water until the shower gel texture is obtained. Don't worry if you don't see any foam when using this soap, that's normal. Olive oil soap foams much less by itself.

    Olive Oil Soap Hair

Use a washcloth to wash your hair. Rub the washcloth over the soap and then rub in a circular motion over the top and sides of your head. This way you can wash your hair well. If you find this difficult, make liquid soap to wash your hair with. Note that if you've always used 'normal' shampoo, your hair must first get used to switching for a few weeks or months. Your hair may appear greasy after washing. This is normal because your hair has become accustomed to the silicones in your regular shampoo. It may take a while for your hair to get used to the absence of silicone and to be able to absorb the glycerin.

    Olive Oil Soap Detergent

Our favourite recipe! Heat 1 litre of water and add 30 g of grated soap and 1 tablespoon of baking soda. Would you like to add a nice scent? Then add some essential oil (for example lavender oil), but only after the mixture has already cooled down. Fill an empty bottle with your detergent and let the mixture rest for 24 hours or one night. Use approximately the same amounts as you were used to when adding your regular detergent. Don't forget to shake your mixture before each wash.
You can also add a splash of white vinegar as a fabric softener every time you do a wash. And we recommend cleaning your washing machine about once a month with soda crystals by running an empty wash with only the crystals.

    Making Liquid Dishwashing Soap

Making liquid dishwashing soap is also very easy. Heat 250 ml of water and add 50 gr. grated soap. If wanted, add a little essential oil (10-15 drops), such as lemongrass. Add the essential oil when the mixture has already cooled down. Pour the mixture into an empty bottle of detergent and that's it! Just use the same amounts that you would normally use. You can also use this mixture as a hand soap!

    Olive Oil Soap Shaving

This soap is moisturising enough to use as a shaving balm or shaving cream. Moisten the area to be shaved, moisten the soap and apply. Shave, rinse and pat dry with a towel.

Got the vegan soap and deodorant. They are really good. The deodorant is so much more effective than the crap you can buy in the supermarket. The soap is great, but maybe a pit expensive (knowing it's quite cheap to make). But good products with good ingredients, we will order again! And thanks for the good delivery by bike in Amsterdam, it's a lot better for the environment :)
