Ylang Ylang Essential Oil

The essential oil of Ylang Ylang comes from the star-shaped flowers of the tropical Ylang Ylang tree and is widely used for making perfumes and in aromatherapy. In aromatherapy Ylang Ylang is used to reduce tension and stress and to promote a positive outlook. Ylang Ylang is often used in hair and skincare products because of its lovely sweet smell and nourishing and protective properties.

What's amazing about essential oils is that you can use them in many different ways. For example, you can add a few drops to a warm bath, add them to your skin or massage oil and use them in your DIY skincare products (for example, mix ylang-ylang with coconut oil and use it as a conditioner for your hair). Or use ylang ylang in a diffuser to spread the scent throughout your house.

Ylang Ylang Essential Oil Diffusing

Use three to four drops in the diffuser of your choice.

Ingredient: Cananga odorata.
