Kaolin clay is a mild cleanser for every skin type, removes impurities and absorbs excess oils without causing inflammation or redness.
Kaolin clay has been used for centuries to absorb excess oil from the skin and prevent breakouts before they start. It's also perfect to help repair acne-damaged skin. For some people, regular use helps balance their skin's oil production, making them less likely to suffer from oily skin. Kaolin clay becomes a smooth paste in combination with water and the small particles can gently exfoliate the skin. Because Kaolin clay is so soft, it's also suitable for sensitive skin.

The absorbing effect of kaolin clay prevents skin problems such as acne, eczema etc. Furthermore, the clay also has an anti-inflammatory effect. This clay is very suitable for dry and sensitive skin.
Kaolin Clay Hair
White Kaolin clay purifies the hair and is mildly cleansing. It nourishes the hair and also ensures moisture retention. In addition, the clay provides shine and tackles the frizz. For curly hair, it can enhance the curls. Furthermore, the Kaolin clay strengthens the hair while improving the elasticity of the hair. In addition, it exfoliates the scalp, so that an oily scalp is well addressed.
Use Kaolin Clay
Many commercial face masks contain clay because of the purifying effect for the skin, but you can also easily make your own face mask with clay at home. This way your mask will also be 100% natural, because the commercial masks often contain many additives that ensure that the mask does not spoil or harden!
Make a face mask or hair mask with Kaolin Clay by mixing it with water or rose water. Optionally add a tablespoon of honey, oil or aloe vera gel.
For the hair: The amount used for the hair depends on the length and thickness of the hair. On average, 2 to 3 tablespoons are enough for the hair. Water can be added until the clay forms a spreadable paste. Let the clay sit on your hair for 20 to 30 minutes before washing it out.
For the face: 1 to 2 teaspoons of clay is enough. Mix with water and apply on your face (avoid the eye area!). Leave the mask on for 20 minutes and rinse. Can be repeated several times a week.
