Lime Essential Oil Benefits
When used in a hand or body soap it will aid the antiseptic and antibacterial qualities. As an anti-septic, it can also reduce unwanted odour. It is a natural antioxidant and astringent so when used with skincare it may help reduce signs of aging and even skin tone. Added into body scrubs, Lime essential oil can help clear body acne, smooth, and polish the skin, and help reduce scarring.
Note: lime oil that comes from the peel is highly phototoxic, so do not use on your skin if you're going into the sun after applying. And after using lime oil on the skin, keep the skin out of the sun for 12 hours.
