Grapeseed Oil Benefits
The oil acts as an astringent, making it good for toning and tightening the complexion while refining the pores. It is rich in antioxidants that are even more potent than vitamins C and E. Rich in linoleic acid, a polyunsaturated omega-6 fatty acid, grapeseed oil evens out skin-tone and rejuvenates dull and dehydrated skin.
Skin that is deficient in linoleic acid tends to be prone to acne. So, by adding more of this fatty acid to your skin through grape-seed oil it can help to reduce breakouts. The antimicrobial qualities also help with this.
Grapeseed Oil Hair
Grapeseed oil maintains healthy hair growth and can help treat dandruff concerns. It can also help control frizz in humid temperatures when combined with de-mineralised water in a spray bottle.
HOW TO USE: For general hair maintenance rub a small amount between your palms to warm the oil up, and massage gently into the scalp. For extra hydration add a teaspoon of the oil into your conditioner bottle. If you mix some oil with a bit of castor oil and few drops of essential oils you can make a beard conditioner.
Grapeseed Oil Skin
HOW TO USE: Usable in its pure form as a face serum at night or mix into your face and body lotions to help seal more moisture into your skin. For a moisturizing mask you can combine two tablespoons of grapeseed oil with a drop each of frankincense and lavender essential oil. Be careful with using essential oils on the face. If you have any sensitivities to essential oils patch test before use.
